approximately 1 yr old, approximately 11-13 lbs, good with kids and other dogs, current shots, working on getting a better picture and more info Gus is a male Pekinese and Shih Tzu mix (white or white with some gray). Since he was a puppy, he has lived with a family that has not provided a lot of attention—he was kenneled a large part of the day and night. While he has not had much experience playing, he seems to enjoy it when he has the opportunity. He is searching for someone who will shower him with love and be patient with him while he adjusts to life outside the kennel. we are working on getting his medical all current before he will be adopted he will be fully vetted UPDATE he is in a foster home now that he figured out he loves attention, wants to be hugged, snuggled with all the time, is working on learning the doggie door, has done great with the other dogs there. Is adjusting to being in a foster home with lots of love and attention and limited crate time. He is adjusting well and seems to love his new surroundings. We are working on getting him a grooming appt and then a full vetting appt. He will be ready to go as soon as his appts are done UPDATE he is fully vetted and has learned that living in a loving home is well worth the time it took to get here. Every night he gets up on the bed walks up to me and gives me a kiss good night then goes back to the bottom to lay down, if he gets cold he will crawl up under the covers with you. He loves to go for rides and loves to be with people, walks well on a leash and does well with the other dogs. He is to pushy with the cats and since he has not had any experience with little kids he would be better off without them.
